Tucked within the historic alleys of Chandni Chowk, Haveli Dharampura is a 19th-century mansion–turned–boutique hotel that artfully blends heritage with hospitality. Built in 1887 and fully restored over six years, it earned a prestigious UNESCO Asia‑Pacific Award for Cultural Heritage Conservation in 2017

A mansion that feels like stepping into another era. I recently stayed here — and it was nothing short of magical.
The architecture is breathtaking — think red sandstone arches, intricate woodwork, and a central courtyard that instantly calms you. It’s amazing how peaceful it feels, even though you’re right in the heart of Old Delhi.
One of my favourite moments? The evening cultural experiences on the rooftop. I absolutely loved the assisted kite flying (yes, someone helps you launch and control the kite — it’s such joyful fun!) followed by a mesmerizing Kathak dance performance under the stars. It made the experience feel truly immersive.

Outside the haveli, you’re just steps from Jama Masjid, Khari Baoli spice market, and the chaotic charm of Chandni Chowk. Everything is walkable and full of stories.

If you’re looking for a heritage stay that lets you live history — while still enjoying great food, warm hospitality, and rooftop sunsets — Haveli Dharampura is worth every minute.
