I have been to Jodhpur quite a times since childhood; but this 2017 Rajasthan ‘Merasthan’ Roadtrip was more of discovering the pathways and overlooking the history.

Astonished and attached to lot of places; one amongst them is The Stepwell Cafe. Was Lucky enough to have natives; who keep exploring and asked me not to miss this; and I am glad I didn’t;

Well you won’t find this cafe easily; but you will discover this secret hideout once you look deep into the old streets of Jodhpur; attached to the stepwell Toorji Ka Jhalra.

Built in 1740s ; recently restored inhabited with the Stepwell cafe and distinctive shops.

Stepwell Cafe offers a fascinating walk through Jodhpur’s history through snippets on wall with Tiriri music and the built.

To feel the blue city a morning well spent on its lovely roof top with a light mix breakfast is surely treasure full experience.

Try: Cheese Balls

Best time to be: Early morning at Rooftop

If I ever want a cafe of mine; The Stepwell Cafe is sure shot amongst the one to be the inspiration.
